Reports to: Supporter Services Team Lead
Contract: x6 Fixed Term Contracts until the end of July 2025
Hours: Full time 35 hours per week (between 8am – 8pm, 10 days within 14, 2 weekends in 6)
Location: Sterling House, Oxford (1 – 2 days per week) or home-based (Anywhere in the UK)
Please note that if you choose to be home-based, you will be required to pay for your own travel to the Oxford office as and when required (approximately 2 x per year).

What will I be doing?
1. Engaging with supporters by offering personalised and tailored responses to all inquiries and complaints, aiming to resolve issues at the first point of contact whenever possible.
2. Listening to each supporter’s needs and understanding their personal experiences and motivations.
3. Using each interaction with supporters to promote CRUK’s engagement, new opportunities, and services.
4. Being an information specialist and maintaining a broad knowledge of all CRUK’s campaigns, products, and services.
5. Seizing every opportunity to boost fundraising and support for CRUK.
6. Engaging with all our services through communication channels, including outbound and inbound calls, live chat, email, and social media.
What skills are we looking for?
1. Enthusiastic and passionate about providing outstanding customer service.
2. Ability to work to targets and be self-motivated to meet and exceed agreed targets.
3. Proficient in creating letters and emails with exceptional grammar.
4. Proficient in using Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint to a high standard.
5. Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills with extensive experience in confident phone communication and call control.
6. IT literate and the ability to use multiple systems at any one time.
7. Fantastic attention to detail and accuracy.
8. Excels in handling tough and stressful circumstances as some of our calls can be emotional.
