Step Teachers are seeking an experienced Primary School Teacher located in Norwich commencing in May 2025. This part-time position is for 26 days initially, with potential extension based on performance and school discretion.
This is a nurturing and inclusive primary school dedicated to creating an environment where every child can thrive, regardless of their individual needs. They have an overall good rating on Ofsted.
Your duties as a Primary School Teacher:
* Plan and deliver differentiated lessons for students with diverse needs (learning, emotional, social, and physical).
* Assess students' progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
* Provide individualized support and interventions to ensure progress.
* Collaborate with teaching assistants, SENCO, and other professionals to create and implement personalized learning plans.
* Foster a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere.
* Communicate effectively with parents and carers to ensure the best outcomes for students.
* Monitor and evaluate student performance and wellbeing.
To be considered for this Primary School Teacher position, you will:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Experience teaching in a primary school setting, with a focus on SEN.
* Strong knowledge of SEN strategies and frameworks.
* Passion for working with children with special educational needs.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
