Science Teacher (Physics or Chemistry) – One-Term Contract (Easter – July) An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and committed Science Teacher to join a high-achieving secondary school in Slough on a one-term contract from Easter to July. This is an excellent chance to teach in a well-resourced and supportive environment where student engagement and academic success are a priority. The Role: Teach Physics or Chemistry across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential KS5 teaching, depending on experience). Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that inspire curiosity and enthusiasm for science. Work collaboratively within a dedicated and successful science department. Support student progress and attainment through effective teaching and assessment. The Ideal Candidate: A qualified Science Teacher (QTS or equivalent) with a specialism in Physics or Chemistry. Experience teaching Science at secondary level. A strong communicator with excellent csubject knowledge. Passionate about education and committed to student success. Salary & Benefits: MPS 1 – UPS 3 (Fringe area): £33,075 – £50,471 per annum (pro-rata for the fixed-term contract). A supportive teaching environment with excellent facilities.
