As the Registered Manager, you'll play a key role in shaping a nurturing environment that enables young people to thrive. You’ll lead the day-to-day operations of an Ofsted Registered Children’s Home, ensuring high standards, staff support, and positive outcomes for each child in your care. Reporting directly to the Registered Individual and Company Directors, you'll be instrumental in our mission to offer the best possible care.
What You’ll Do:
1. Oversee and manage all aspects of home operations to ensure seamless functionality.
2. Inspire, lead, and develop a team of care staff, focusing on recruitment, training, and ongoing development.
3. Ensure full compliance with Ofsted standards and regulations, upholding excellence in all areas.
4. Collaborate with social workers and other professionals to design and implement personalized care plans for each child.
5. Foster the emotional, physical, and educational growth of the young people in your care.
6. Effectively manage budgets and resources to sustain a thriving home environment.
7. Build and maintain strong relationships with local authorities, healthcare professionals, and families.
What We’re Looking For:
1. Experience working with vulnerable children and young people in residential settings.
2. Proven experience in team management, supervision, and performance review.
3. Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services or equivalent.
4. Deep understanding of Ofsted standards and children’s home regulations.
5. Strong values, embracing equal opportunities and anti-discriminatory practices.
6. Comprehensive knowledge of safeguarding, children’s home regulations, and health and safety legislation.
7. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
8. A full UK driving license (preferred).

Pay: £50,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
