The role
As a Bid Support, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll be responsible for managing the information capture required to effectively report progress and assist in the responses to contract change notices within designated response times.
Day-to-day, you’ll collate information and provide reportable data to the Bid Manager, generating process documentation and updating of existing templates to latest issue.
1. To gather information from across various departments and roles to aid complete responses
2. To raise concerns up the chain of command
3. To confirm details of response with Commercial and manage any follow up queries
4. Ensuring all Contract Change Notices are recorded on the current system and assigned to a Bid Manager
5. Ensuring responses are completed to a consistently high standard
6. This position involves travel/working across a range of internal and customer sites, as a requirement of the role
This role is full time, 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 4 days in the onsite and 1 day working from home.
Essential experience of the Bid Support
7. Ability to challenge and have tough conversations
8. Ability to make decisions based on information available
9. Ability to make prioritisation decisions with limited resources
10. Ability to react to changing demands
11. Ability to communicate with multiple level stakeholders (e.g., Supervisors, Workshop Managers, Site Managers, Programme Managers)
Qualifications for the Bid Support
12. Educated to Level 3 in National Qualification Framework (NQF) as a minimum (Apprenticeship, national certificate (ONC), Level 3 NVQ) or equivalent experience
