As the Pensions Administration Officer, you will be responsible for the effective administration of all pension schemes for our numerous clients, meaning you will be able to balance your workload to ensure you effectively meet contractual deadlines. Your required skills: Experienced pension administrator, LGPS experience desired but not essential Educated to GCSE level or equivalent Including Maths and English. Competency in IT Systems Excellent Communication Skills Ability to prioritise work loads Able to meet deadline Your key deliverables: Record maintenance and benefit calculation. Ensuring all work is properly authorised and recorded so that audit trails are maintained. Providing accurate and timely information to members, the Client and third parties. Answering enquiries from members, the Client and third parties by telephone, e-mail and letters. All benefit calculations relating to the schemes Deliver tasks within the timescales indicated within the Pensions Contract. Ensuring a high level of Customer Care. Assisting both the Pensions Group Leader and Team Leaders as necessary. Adherence to Liberata’s Health & Safety and Environmental Policies and procedures and all relevant statutory requirements Your key tasks: Processes and calculations Starters set up Refund – calculations and payment Leavers – calculations and deferred set up Retirements – calculation, pension set up and payment of lump sum Transfer in – calculation and system update Transfer out – calculation, system update and payment of the transfer Death – calculations of the entitlement for widow/er, children and death grant.
