As the Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales and expanding market presence in the North West of England. You will support clients in optimizing their operations through high-performance movement systems that enhance efficiency and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities while nurturing existing client relationships to drive revenue growth.
2. Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activity.
3. Product Expertise: Provide clients with expert guidance on product selection and application, ensuring they receive tailored solutions that meet their unique requirements.
4. Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing and product development, to align sales strategies with company objectives.
5. Reporting: Prepare and present sales forecasts, performance metrics, and strategic plans to senior management.
6. Customer Support: Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a sales role, preferably within distribution, manufacturing, or engineering.
2. Educational Background: A degree in engineering, business, or a related field is preferred; however, equivalent work experience will also be considered.
3. Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with movement systems, conveyor technology, or similar products to effectively communicate technical information to clients.
4. Sales Skills: Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing new business, demonstrating strong negotiation and closing skills.
5. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, enabling you to build rapport with clients and present solutions effectively.
