Job overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a Sister/Charge nurse to join our Tuberculosis (TB) service. We are looking to appoint a dynamic individual with strong interpersonal skills, and an enthusiasm for providing health education, treatment and advice for patients. This role will predominantly involve working across the local community and outpatient settings but will include some acute hospital work.
We are looking for a senior staff Nurse to take on the position as a band 6 TB specialist nurse within the TB team. All we ask is that you must be a motivated UK registered Nurse with skills in acute medical nursing practice and a willingness to undertake further training as required. You must be a car driver/owner as this role involves community visits and outpatient clinics.
Previous TB nursing knowledge is desirable but not essential as training can be given, as is an appropriate degree course (or working towards) in acute/critical care, but consideration will be given to all applicants.
