Construction Manager Location: Birmingham / Midlands. Salary: Circa £50,000 - £60,000 dependant on experience plus package including - Company Vehicle - Company pension - Private medical insurance Summary A leading provider of engineering solutions, is seeking a talented Construction Manager in the Midlands area to manages the execution of a range of railway construction projects from beginning to end ensuring that client objectives are met to time, cost and quality standards. Duties includes Reviewing the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs Overseeing all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations Coordinating and supervising subcontractors, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications. Manage project schedules, resources, and budgets Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and project team members. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment. Document project progress, maintain accurate records, and prepare regular reports for management. Requirements: At least 3 years or site / construction management experience on Railway Civil Engineering / Construction Projects HND/ HNC in Civil Engineering (desirable) Experience working on NEC contracts Excellent communication and people management skills Commercial awareness of cost monitoring and cost value reconciliation Ideally a CSCS Black card, SSSTS or SMSTS Railway Safety Training (PTS) To apply, please get in touch with a CV outlining your relevant experience and qualifications.
