Private Client Legal AssistantLocation: Bristol - HybridSalary: £24,000 - £25,000
OVERVIEWThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a prestigious Legal 500 firm in Bristol as a Legal Assistant within the expanding Private Client Department. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the Private Client Department with a wide range of secretarial and administrative tasks. This is an ideal position for someone with strong administrative skills who is looking to build a career in Private Client law within a friendly, supportive, and welcoming team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Provide typing and general secretarial support in the Private Client Department
* Handle incoming calls, emails, and Teams enquiries with professionalism and efficiency
* Assist with new client enquiries and liaise with clients under supervision
* Maintain and prepare client files and relevant legal documentation
* Input and update information on the case management system
* Support the department with general administrative tasks and filing
* Ensure confidentiality and discretion at all times
ABOUT YOU
* Private Client experience is advantageous but not essential
* Confident communicator with excellent telephone manner
* Experience using case management systems is desirable but not essential
* Highly organised with a strong attention to detail
* Friendly, proactive, and a team player with a can-do attitude
* Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively
* Discreet and professional, particularly when handling sensitive client information
