One of our clients are looking for a Regional Sales Manager to join their expanding team, paying a base salary between 45-55k plus bonus. Job Title: Regional Field Sales Manager Reports to : Group Sales Director Job Purpose: This role will involve selling the company, its products & services to new and existing customers alongside identifying new opportunities for product and service within a specified region and nominated growth accounts. Main Duties: • Exceed set sales targets to grow the business within the relevant territory and with all nominated/growth accounts. • To actively target and open new accounts to increase the number of buying customers in the relevant territory • Manage assigned business accounts in the region maximising profitability. • To actively seek to increase the uptake of all services offered within your territory and across all nominated/growth accounts. • Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers to optimise quality of service, business growth and customer satisfaction. • Advise clients on forthcoming product developments and marketing collateral. • Provide customers with formal quotations in line with the business expectations. • Respond to and report back on sales enquiries in line with business methods. • Gain a clear understanding of customers businesses and requirements. • Feed any changes in buying trends back to internal departments. • Deal with all customer queries efficiently and effectively. • Attend sales objective/review meetings • Attend training to develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills as required. • Adhere to health and safety policy, and other requirements relating to care of equipment • Other tasks as and when required by your line manager or Sales Director Field Sales Requirements • Create customer specific programmes to target sales & profitable growth using data and credible market information. • Seek out and target new accounts • Appointment setting with key Existing & New stakeholders, develop strong relationships. • Report weekly activity into business • Develop internal sales team through professional communication • Achieve targets ongoingly (targets are to be agreed with Sales Director and line manager) • Establish new pipeline for ongoing development and record in line with business methods • Conduct site visits at nominated sites when necessary or required • Attend Industry seminars/ Local business functions • Provide hospitality & networking engagement when required and in line with business expectations • Attend all new product launch and roadshows • Utilise all internal support mechanisms to develop business Skill and Experience • Must have previous experience within a field sales role. • Excellent communication skills at all levels. • Confident, enthusiastic approach to work. • Target driven. • Ability to utilise software Personal Attributes • Flexibility to move outside the job description as and when required. • A desire to exceed expectations, always striving for excellence. • Self-motivated, positive, confident and self-assured. • Focussed and persistent. • Ability to work under pressure.
