Vickerstock are working in partnership with a growing food production business on the appointment of a Goods In Manager. You will plan, organise and control the intake of goods to ensure production is supplied with adequate quantities of quality eggs to fulfil customer orders while also ensuring food safety, legality and quality. Do note, you will be expected to work one weekend in four. This may change based on company requirements. Benefits: Life insurance (4x annual salary) As the Goods Inwards Manager, duties will include: Collaborate with different departments to ensure that the required supply levels are met for production schedule. Determine and manage human and material resources to meet departmental targets Ensure implementation and adherence to Health & Safety, hygiene and security procedures Set, implement, enforce and monitor quality control standards to meet quality objectives, e.g. rotation and segregation of product, handling of poor-quality eggs Promptly resolve any issues concerning product collection. Monitor and review employee conduct and performance and organise necessary interventions for improvement within agreed procedures, e.g. appraisals and disciplinary investigations/hearings Identify training needs and in collaboration with the training department plan and organise training where required Maintain files/records and provide quick accurate information when required. Meet targets and deadlines to the required standards and within agreed time frames.
