Trainee Traffic Installation Technician Gloucestershire, United Kingdom (On-site)
Telent is seeking a Trainee Traffic Installation Technician to join our Traffic Signals / Traffic Lighting team in Gloucestershire. Due to growth, we are expanding our Traffic team in this region. This is a field-based role; the successful candidate must hold a full UK driving license and be willing to travel across the region, working in all weather conditions.
If you are looking to develop hands-on field experience, have some electrical installations knowledge or experience, and hold an Electrical Engineering diploma or certificate, this role offers a structured training program to advance your skills and qualifications, including NVQ Level 2 and 3 in Highways Electrical Installations, ECS, and NHSS certifications.
Responsibilities:
Work with experienced Traffic Engineers to install, maintain, and test Traffic Signals / Lighting units and electrical components in Gloucestershire.
Training combines on-the-job learning, desk-based, and online modules.
Candidate Profile:
Interest in field-based engineering, electrical installations experience or education preferred. Enthusiastic beginners are encouraged to apply.
