Here at MJ Quinn, we currently have an exciting new opportunity for a Civils Field Manager to join the business. This position will be field-based in and around the Stourbridge area.

About the Role
The primary objective of the Civils Field Manager is to be responsible for the control of your designated project from beginning to end, ensuring all documentation, services, and processes are completed in line with the needs of the business while providing support to the Civils Field Supervisor.
Your Responsibilities will include:
1. Support civils supervisor and civils engineers in completing works as per specification, overseeing excavation, backfill, and reinstatement.
2. Manage works to ensure streetworks conditions and client timescales are met.
3. Liaise with Local Authorities, third-party utility companies, and the client to carry out JSM to discuss works and agree on job-specific conditions.
4. Report progress to key stakeholders.
5. Carry out regular site audits.
6. Manage and monitor reinstatement quality.
Experience:
1. Experience on the Openreach Network.
2. Experience in utility civils including excavation, backfill, and reinstatement.
3. Experience in a similar role within the telecoms industry managing teams.
Skills:
1. Problem-solving and adaptability.
2. Planning and organisation.
3. Working to deadlines.
4. Good IT skills.
5. Effective communication with stakeholders, Local Authorities, and other internal departments.
Qualifications:
1. NRSWA Supervisor accreditation with knowledge of streetworks permit conditions and HAUC guidelines.
2. SMART Awards safety accreditations.
3. Not essential but desired: SMART craft civils accreditations.
4. Full UK Driving Licence.
