Role Description
DeLaval is now looking to recruit a Country Commercial Manager for Ireland to take responsibility for managing, coaching and developing the team of District Sales Managers (DSM).
The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic growth of sales through our network of dedicated Dealerships as well as final customers. They will be expected to develop and implement strategic plans to progress, grow and support our Dealership network. They will work closely with the dealers to make joint business plans, audit their performance and support in their development together with the DSM.
This position will report to the Territory Sales Manager UK & IRL.

Responsibilities
* Responsible for developing, coaching and training the team of District Sales Managers
* Develop and implement commercial growth strategies to deliver objectives set by the Sales Territory Manager (STM).
* Implement and audit dealer business improvement plans via alignment with the dealers business plans and DeLaval’s DSM’s
* Deliver sales and profit targets set by the STM via management of the DSM’s and Dealerships.
* Develop the dealership network in line with DeLaval dealership criteria.
* Building long term partnership with Dealerships and customers
* Strong ambassador of the DeLaval brand
Required Qualifications and Skills
* Minimum Degree level qualification is preferable
* Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience
* People management and influencing skills
* Relationship builder / Influencer
* A track record of successfully implementing ideas.
* Change management skills
* Good communication and training skills at all levels
* Good problem-solving and analytical skills
* Structured and well organized
* Strong computer literacy.
* Ability to travel is crucial, and must possess a valid driver’s license
Personal Qualities and Abilities
* An understanding of dairy farming is an advantage but not essential
* Solution focused, delivering quality on what is being done
* Flexible, ability to plan, prioritize and improvise according to the on-site prerequisites
* Seize opportunities, establishing solutions instead of seeing problems as an obstacle

Location
* This role will preferably be based in Cardiff with the ability to travel throughout GB.
* You will be required to travel overnight occasionally and attend meetings/trainings globally.
