Job Description
UWE Bristol is an ambitious institution with a focus on the future. We understand that the landscape of Higher Education is changing fast and we're passionate about embracing new opportunities and taking the lead.
We are looking for outstanding senior business analysts to provide analytical problem solving knowledge, skills and experience to develop business requirements and solutions within the Student Journey Programme (SJP). This is an ambitious, high profile strategic business transformation programme to dramatically enhance the services and support provided to students and staff, enabled by new technology and ways of working. The programme will comprise a number of projects to provide the capabilities needed to effect this transformation across the student journey from enquiry through to graduation and alumni.
The overall programme is the most significant, far-reaching programme of change undertaken within UWE for many years and represents a multi-million pound investment. High calibre senior business analysts will be central to the investigation of issues and the evaluation of solutions to enable achievement of programme objectives and realisation of the benefits that underpin this investment.
These are exciting and challenging roles working within the SJP team, and with a wide range of stakeholders to deliver a major component of the University's Future Strategy.
The successful candidates will have demonstrated a strong track record in analysis of complex business processes, systems and structures, identification of business requirements and successful implementation of business improvements at a senior level with a mix of business change and process improvement alongside digital/technology-based solutions. Experience of effective business analysis within a University Student Journey, Customer Relationship Management or Student Information System context would be an advantage.
The SJP Programme is one of several strategic programmes coordinated and supported by the Strategic Programmes Office led by the Director of Strategic Programmes. The successful applicants would be required to work across the portfolio of projects and programmes as required.
