We have now reached an exciting point in our post-pandemic recovery and are in search of the right person to take our digital presence and profile to the next level, with the overriding objective of increasing our revenue in a very competitive marketplace. About you: We’re looking for someone with a strong background in digital marketing (5 years), but also someone who is passionate about the outdoors - especially walking and hiking (essential), and skiing (desirable). If your idea of the perfect holiday is a week walking the mountain trails of Central Europe - then this could be the perfect assignment for you Being a part of a small but knowledgeable team, you will need to feel comfortable driving the marketing strategy forward, as well as being hands on with the work that needs to be completed to make this a reality. You’ll need to be strong with numbers, as a data driven approach to gaining insight will be key to our continued key to revenue growth. This role reports directly to senior leaders, and holds responsibility and decision-making, and some autonomy in how the company executes every part of its marketing. You’ll be helped by an extremely talented content creator who can assist you in creating emails, social media content, paid media ads and much more, as and when you require this. We want to find the right person for the role, and so we are initially looking at offering a fixed term contract role, with flexibility as to whether this is full-time or part-time. Job Responsibilities: Responsibility for the creation and ongoing management of the business’ Google ads and Meta ads accounts, to continue driving the correct volume and quality of leads for the sales team to convert into sales. Continue the growth of traffic and leads driven through SEO, by driving forward a content plan that addresses the questions that our target audience need answering. Be a capable user of HubSpot (or another CRM) to maximise the revenue generated from email, by converting leads Be extremely comfortable in producing and maintaining reports that provide actionable insight for future improvements across digital marketing channels Be comfortable working with the WordPress content management systems (CMS) and in conjunction with web developers to continue to make website improvements that provide guests with a better website experience, and the business with more high-quality leads. Manage our digital marketing budget - ensuring that the seasonality of our products is reflected in spend patterns Manage/Maintain Google Analytics across our site, understanding overall site & individual page performance (Including CRO tools etc.) Stay on top of current and future trends to ensure that our digital marketing strategy is always relevant to our target market/audience Skills Required: The ideal candidate will have 5 years of relevant experience in a similar digital marketing role ideally in house (in a travel environment is desirable, but not essential). You must be able to demonstrate: an ability to think strategically and come up with new lead focused campaigns analytical skills and attention to detail – It’s imperative that everything that is customer facing is always 100% accurate. excellent time and project management skills strong written and verbal communication skills You will have particular hands-on experience: Paid media campaigns (Google ads & Meta ads) SEO working with HubSpot marketing tools (highly desirable, but not essential) working with WordPress websites liaising effectively with 3 rd parties Benefits: Friends and Family discount - we’re a small business, so any opportunity to extend what we do to the people who help us succeed to their family and friends is something we’d happily help with Flexible working – whilst working from home is now common at Collett’s, be prepared to meet with the managing director in Bakewell, Derbyshire at least monthly, and ideally more often.
