Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust
The West Yorkshire Staff Mental Health & Wellbeing Hub provides comprehensive mental health support to all individuals working or volunteering in health, social care, and voluntary community service organisations across West Yorkshire. Overall, the Hub aims to create a supportive environment for staff, addressing mental health & emotional distress, and promoting overall wellbeing through accessible, confidential, & comprehensive services to support cultural change and create compassionate cultures across the West Yorkshire Health and Care Partnership.
The service has a number of offers to support this endeavour and is excited to offer an opportunity to join the team in a newly developed role as Training and Engagement Manager within our preventative measures (compassionate cultures/cultural change) workstream.
Main duties of the job
The service is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Training and Engagement Manager to spearhead our efforts in supporting the mental health & wellbeing of our staff. This Band 7 role is crucial in developing & delivering effective training programs and engagement strategies that foster a culture of mental health awareness and support. One of the key areas you will be supporting is our Critical Incident Staff Support Pathway through engagement and training across the Health Care Partnership.
The role is home-based but will require frequent travel across the footprint of the West Yorkshire Health and Care Partnership to attend internal meetings and training and engagement opportunities with our partner organisations. The team strives to practice what it preaches to have an internal culture of support, understanding, and compassion to allow all team members to flourish. If you think you have the desire and skills to support the Health and Care Workforce of West Yorkshire to maintain their mental health and wellbeing, we would be keen to hear from you.
The role will entail a significant proportion of face-to-face work and engagement time with an anticipation of 2-3 days per week requiring travel across the West Yorkshire area.
