In this role, you’ll beresponsible for conducting property inspections, ensuring qualitystandards are met for home improvements, mutual exchanges, andgeneral repairs. You’ll betravelling across our operational areas, including Buckinghamshire,Bedfordshire, Oxfordshire, Hertfordshire, Middlesex, and NorthLondon. You will need to carry out thorough property inspections,sometimes involving climbing ladders to access loft spaces, andproduce detailed reports to support decision-making within theAsset Management team.

KeyResponsibilities:
* Conduct property inspections for tenant homeimprovements, alterations, and mutual exchanges, ensuringcompliance with quality standards and consentrequirements.
* Carry out general propertyinspections, identifying defects and repairs, and raising workorders where necessary.
* Prepare detailed,accurate reports following inspections and provide support onproject work as required by the Surveying ServicesManager.
* Arrange appointments with customers,maintaining clear and accurate records ofcommunications.
* Ensure inspections arecompleted on time and contribute to the team’s KPItargets.
* Promote a culture of health andsafety, ensuring compliance with relevant procedures during allinspections and tasks.
* Liaise with internalteams, such as Asset Management and Property Services, to ensurerepairs and works are scheduled and completed within agreedtimelines.
AboutYou:
You are an experienced propertyinspector with a background in housing or building, ideally withexperience in the residential property sector. You have strongattention to detail, excellent time management skills, and theability to stay calm under pressure. Your methodical approach helpsyou identify building defects effectively, and yourcustomer-focused attitude ensures residents feel supported andvalued.
With a collaborative mindset, you enjoyworking in a team but are equally confident working independently,following lone worker practices where necessary. You arecomfortable using IT systems to produce reports and communicatefindings, and you take pride in delivering a high standard ofwork.
What We’re LookingFor:
* Relevantprofessional qualification in Social Housing or and/or suitableexperience within the residential property sector.
* Experience in conducting property condition surveys andproducing accurate, detailed written reports.
* Ability to identify basic building defects and a goodunderstanding of building regulations and planningprocesses.
* Strong problem-solving skills andthe ability to prioritise tasks effectively
* Excellent communication skills and a team-orientedapproach
* Full UK Driving Licence and access toa personal vehicle
