Fourdot Group is looking for a Production Fabricator to join our team! Working across four brands the role will require you to work on the fabrication of various products primarily in Wood and Acrylic using onsite equipment and tools. Helping our fabrication team setup and complete products to the highest quality standards. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to learn and grow through many manufacturing fabrication skills and techniques.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Complete Tasks according to the production plan focusing on the pre-fabrication and fabrication of various products.
* Using hand tools, Diamond & Flame polishers to finish Acrylic products.
* Using line benders and gluing stations to finish and fabricate parts for batch run products.
* preparing wood and acrylic for production processes.
* Ensure health and safety/environmental standards are always adhered to.
* To use PPE as required by the company and when signage always indicates so work with the wider team to identify production improvements and opportunities.
* Learn and develop your skills across a broad spectrum of manufacturing techniques and skills
* Work to a level of precision and pace as set by your Team Leader.
* Agree and adhere to output targets with your supervisor.
Job Requirements:
* Experience working in a factory environment
* Experience in using tools and equipment safely.
* Independent problem-solving skills.
* Ability to handle multiple tasks, with awareness of deadlines.
* Can work under and without supervision.
Benefits:
* 40-hour contract.
* £11.44p/h probationary rate - £TBC p/h thereafter (pending pay review Nov) + Overtime at @1.5%.
