About the role
*This is a Maternity cover, available to UCL staff only*
Centre Manager will provide strategic and operational leadership, ensuring the Centre’s infrastructure and administrative functions effectively support its objectives and long-term growth. As the primary operational lead, the post-holder will drive efficiency, foster collaboration, and enhance the Centre’s profile within the institution and externally.
Reporting jointly to the Centre Co-Director and Deputy Director of Operations, the Centre Manager will be accountable for the development and oversight of administrative systems, ensuring they are robust, fit for purpose, and fully aligned with UCL and Faculty strategies and policies.
About you
The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate:
1. Experience of successfully line managing, developing, and motivating a team of support staff.
2. Proven track record in administration and management within a HEI (or equivalent) complex environment.
3. Experience in financial management, including budgeting, financial reporting, and analysis.
4. Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively under pressure.
5. Commitment and knowledge to advancing equality, diversity and inclusion.
