Overview
As a maintenance team leader, based on a static site, you will be expected to provide a comprehensive planned and reactive maintenance service for our client, ensuring the highest possible standards of service are achieved, whilst assisting the maintenance manager and deputising in their absence.
Ability to lead and motivate the current team and liaise with all other centre departments in a one team ethos.

Key Responsibilities
1. To provide a quality service at all times to the client by ensuring that the standards of work and the materials supplied are as specified in accordance with the contractual arrangements.
2. To work to recognised industry standards at all times.
3. You will be required to carry out physically demanding tasks in order to meet the requirement of the business.
4. Elogbooks (internal facilities management system) are managed successfully for those sites/locations responsible.
5. Carrying out quality inspections.
6. Ensure reactive maintenance is responded to immediately to equipment breakdowns.
7. Fixing faults on site or arranging for replacement machinery or equipment to be installed as necessary.
8. To participate in the provision of out-of-hours emergency cover as necessary.
9. To liaise with the Maintenance Manager to establish planned and routine maintenance programme and reporting procedures.
10. To maintain personal and professional development to meet the changing demands of the job, participate in appropriate training activities and maintain current knowledge and professional qualifications to increase your skills basis (Personal Development Plans) for yourself and the tech team.
11. To undertake any other duties as directed by the maintenance manager and the wider centre team within the remit of the role.
12. Adhere to Company and externally relevant health and safety laws and policies.
13. Review and manage staff rotas for the tech team and report any issues to the maintenance manager.
14. Deputise in the absence of the maintenance manager.
Necessary Skills
Essential:
* Relevant Technical Certification in Electrical Installation or Electrical Maintenance or relevant Technical Certification in Mechanical Maintenance.
* Electrical Inspection and Testing (2391) or 2394.
* Experience of Maintenance in a retail environment.
* Competent electrical fault finding and analysis skills.
* Previous Team leader or supervisor experience.
* Excellent communication skills and must be able to work within a diverse community.
* Competent IT skills for email / Microsoft packages.
* Methodical record keeping.
* Ability to understand and analyse electrical / mechanical systems.
* Hands-on approach and problem solving.
* IOSH working safely.
* ACOP L8 Legionella water hygiene.
* IPAF Certificate.
* Asbestos Awareness.
* Driving License.
Desirable
* Authorised person – LV.
* PASMA (Safe use of mobile access towers).
