A Chance to Redefine What’s Possible
The quantum revolution is here, and it’s time to decide if you want to be part of it—or watch from the sidelines. Imagine working at the heart of an industry destined to transform computing, communication, and innovation as we know it.
You’ll join a team that’s not just building photonic technology but crafting the infrastructure to power quantum systems on a global scale. Every project you touch will have a singular goal: to bring the promise of quantum networking into reality, faster and more efficiently than anyone thought possible.
This isn’t about small steps; it’s about quantum leaps.
The Role: Your Next Big Breakthrough
You’ll be responsible for creating Quantum Photonic Integrated Circuits (Q-PICs)—the beating heart of tomorrow’s quantum networks and interconnects. These circuits will set the standard for quantum technology worldwide.
Your days will be filled with challenges that only someone with your expertise can tackle:
* Crafting low-loss, single-photon photonic components for cutting-edge applications.
* Designing and simulating advanced photonic architectures using tools like Ansys Lumerical.
* Collaborating with world-class foundries and leveraging in-house clean room facilities to develop groundbreaking technology.
* Preparing measurement setups and conducting in-depth characterizations of photonic devices at both room and cryogenic temperatures.
You’ll be doing work that doesn’t just solve problems—it anticipates the needs of an industry that’s still being written.
Is This You?
You’re not here to follow; you’re here to lead. You bring expertise, curiosity, and the drive to build something that’s never been done before.
Here’s what you’ll need to succeed:
* A postgraduate degree in Physics or Engineering and a hands-on background in optical and electro-optical characterization.
* Familiarity with PIC CAD tools (IPKISS, NAZCA, or GDS Factory) and advanced photonic device modeling software like Ansys Lumerical.
* A strong grasp of low-loss optical coupling and experience scripting for data analysis (Python preferred).Python
* Proven collaboration with external foundries and a track record of delivering high-quality technical projects.
* A natural ability to communicate complex ideas—whether to peers, partners, or senior leadership.
Experience in cryogenic measurements, RF modeling, or packaging design for fiber-to-chip coupling is a plus—but not a dealbreaker.
Why This Opportunity?
Because some roles let you contribute, and others let you define.
This is your chance to:
* Be part of the team shaping the quantum networking infrastructure of tomorrow.
* Work in an environment that values creativity, diversity, and autonomy over bureaucracy.
* Take on projects that demand your best and reward you with the satisfaction of knowing you’ve changed what’s possible.
You’ll find support, flexibility, and the freedom to push boundaries—not to mention a team of experts who share your passion for discovery.
It’s Time to Decide
This isn’t a job for someone who’s comfortable coasting. This is for the engineer who looks at a challenge and sees a chance to make history.
The quantum future isn’t coming; it’s already here. The only question is, will you be the one building it?
If you’re ready to take the leap, apply now.
