* FDD, Software, Electrical Schemes and Electrical Products definition (with the support of the Electrical Lead Engineer), in compliance with the Engineering commitments.
* Managing interface and ensuring follow-up of sub-systems (electrical components, PACIS, CCTV, Multimedia, TCMS, Event recorder, Train Ground Communication, ATC/Safety equipment).
* Delivery of Train Software according to his/her Engineering Work Package.
* Being accountable for maintaining and controlling KPIs for the project and reporting to S/W Domain Leader.
* Accountable for Software Validation for projects or multiple projects/products.
Performance measurements:
* OTD, QCD, PMC, Project reliability / availability / cost targets.

* University degree in Railway Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, Automation Engineering or Electrical and Mechanical Engineering.
Mandatory Experience:
* Experience in Software system/Application engineering.
* Hands-on development experience of one or more software phases like software development, hardware-software integration, etc.
* Good working level knowledge of network protocols like MVB, Ethernet, CAN, RS232, RS485.
Desirable Experience:
* Knowledge of rolling stock.
* Certification in System Engineering.
* Experience working knowledge of safety management systems and safety risk assessment.
* Proficient in the use of MS Office, SAP, BI/BO.
