Responsibilities:
1. Lead and guide nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, to follow policies.
2. Supervise patient care, including assessments, medications, and documentation. Adjust care plans as needed.
3. Participate in staffing and scheduling for efficient patient care.
4. Mentor and educate nursing staff for their professional growth.
5. Monitor compliance, maintain quality standards, and conduct audits for improvement.
6. Facilitate communication for care coordination among healthcare team members.
7. Advocate for patients, address concerns, and promote patient-centered care.
8. Respond to medical emergencies according to protocols.
9. Ensure accurate electronic health record documentation.
10. Keep updated on healthcare regulations for staff compliance.
