Smokefree Lancashire has been commissioned to deliver the stop smoking service across Lancashire. With an estimated 131,000 smokers in Lancashire, our goal is to make smoking cessation a priority for everyone We provide advice and information to people who want to quit smoking and develop personalised plans during one-to-one support sessions. We also offer groupwork sessions, pharmacotherapy and deliver training to our partner agencies. We are seeking a dedicated Administrator to join our dynamic team in Lancashire, to provide effective administrative support. You will offer organisational, administrative, and clerical services to the team designed to contribute towards its aims and objectives. Where: Lancashire Full Time Salary Range: £25,077.00 (based on full time hours, pro rata for part-time hours) Full Time Hours: 37.5 hours per week About the role: To process referrals through our Quit Manager system, ensuring that new email and telephone referrals are processed. Provide new and existing service users with a friendly and welcoming experience, ensuring that queries are dealt with promptly and efficiently. Contribute to managing an effective appointment system, sending appointment reminder texts, checking appointment times, and following up on missed appointments. Help to record team meeting minutes and help to maintain shared spreadsheets Help to manage our social media channels, providing responses to comments and messages where appropriate. Encourage service user feedback through bulk text messages and record feedback correctly. Providing basic advice and information on the service offer. Have an awareness of the wider organisation. Take messages for staff and update case management contacts where appropriate Support the team with the packaging of medications for delivery. This may also include helping to manage the medication spreadsheet. About you: Non-judgmental attitude and experience of working with service users Understanding of Tobacco Addiction services Experience of working in an office environment Excellent communication skills Willingness to actively participate in regular supervision Experience of communicating clearly and effectively with service users and team members.
