As a Carpenter/Multi-skilled operative, you will be operating within the Councils Property Maintenance Group (PMG) and will be responsible for delivering high quality building maintenance services both planned and reactive across the corporate property portfolio. You will join a team of highly qualified and experienced operatives (Electricians, Plumbers, Heating engineers, multi skilled building tradesmen, HVAC Engineers) supported by an administrative helpdesk team and managerial staff. In General, the work is mainly carpentry based but you should also be capable of various multi-skilled tasks, including patch plastering, groundworks and basic plumbing. The work will be varied and interesting and will provide an opportunity for you to showcase your skills. What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?
