About the Role:
As a Technical Sales Advisor, you'll be the first point of contact for customers, handling a variety of enquiries from pricing and product suitability to troubleshooting product installation and usage issues. Your role will encompass both pre- and post-sales support, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
Key responsibilities include:
* Advising customers on product options and suitability.
* Supporting the order process, liaising with factories and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
* Problem-solving technical issues with the support of the in-house Design, Engineering, and Sales teams.
* Learn and be enthused by a vast product range of components and accessories that offer your customer choice and solutions
* Online marketing, using social media platforms to inspire, educate and increase customer interaction
Comprehensive product training will be provided, alongside a supportive team and a brilliant Sales Manager to help you succeed.
We're seeking a candidate with:
* Excellent communication skills to engage with both business clients and the public
* Strong IT skills, particularly in MS Office (proficiency in Excel is essential)
* Social media skills ideally to showcase these innovative solutions to the DIY audience
* Numeracy skills for handling measurements and calculations
* A technical aptitude and an interest in problem-solving
* Organisational skills to manage time, admin, and decision-making effectively
* Experience in sales, customer service, or order processing, preferably in a technical or mechanical environment
* An Appetite for continuous learning on products and solutions
The following attributes will set you apart:
* Familiarity with AutoCAD or 3D drawing tools (training available)
* Understanding of manufacturing environments or joinery products
* Awareness of British and European standards
* ERP or business software experience
* Estimating experience
* Social media marketing skills, or an interest to learn this

This is a full time, office based position. 39 hours per week.
