The Quality Engineer Role
Rate: £30PH
Duration: 6-months
Location: Bolton
As the Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for providing frontline support to the Manufacturing teams. Your key duties will include:
1. Managing non-conformance issues, including administration and data analysis
2. Implementing and verifying permanent corrective actions
3. Collating business KPIs and communicating findings at all levels
4. Facilitating Practical Problem Solving activities and determining root causes
5. Supporting the successful transfer of new products into manufacturing
6. Managing customer concerns and escapes, liaising with international facilities
7. Interfacing with the wider Quality teams to share data and drive improvements
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
1. Minimum HNC/HND in a relevant subject or equivalent work experience
2. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and drive improvements
3. Strong Practical Problem Solving skills and the confidence to lead improvement activities
4. Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and monitor multiple tasks
5. Self-motivated with a determination to deliver results despite obstacles
