Executive Chef Role Summary
We are searching for a culinary expert with a positive attitude and enthusiasm for teamwork and driving standards as the Club enters an exciting future with the opening of a new East Stand.
Key Responsibilities
• Work with the Catering Manager and Commercial Director to design exciting matchday hospitality menus of the highest standard and across a broad range of cuisine and themes for executive boxes and restaurants.
• Lead a team of chefs and kitchen staff to execute the menus to the highest standards of matchday hospitality ensuring a good experience for all guests.
• Design menus for non-matchday meetings, events, conferences and parties working closely with the catering team including bespoke menus to meet clients needs.
• Create menu and logistics plans for the delivery of catering.
• Manage performance of kitchen teams, overseeing the functions and staffing levels of all stadium kitchens.
• Be the lead liaison between kitchen staff and clients.
• Be personally responsible for health and safety standards across the kitchens and ensure that all kitchen staff follow health code standards.
• Regularly inspect and update the kitchens health code standards.
• Foster a collaborative and positive work environment in the kitchen.
Qualifications and Experience
• Experience working as a chef ideally in a similar sector and role with multiple kitchens.
• Previous experience in a position of leadership, responsible for a team of chefs and kitchen staff.
• Deep knowledge of best culinary practices.
• Creative talent and passion for designing menus across culinary trends, cuisines, themes and cultures.
• Ability to thrive in a high pressured environment.
• Strong communication and organisation skills.
Location and Hours
• The job holder will be required to work at Sixfields Stadium, Northampton.
• This is a full-time role with variable hours including all home matchdays, evenings, weekends and some bank holidays.
