Asa Payroll Supervisor you will report directly to the PayrollDirector and take charge of managing a diverse client portfolio.This includes handling weekly fortnightly and monthly payrollsaddressing client queries and ensuring a seamless payroll processfrom start tofinish.

KeyResponsibilities:
* Overseethe entire payroll process including data entry reconciliation andobtaining clientapprovals.
* Reviewand validate the work of junior team members to ensure accuracy andcompliance.
* Preparepayroll journals and reconcile PAYE figures on a weekly and monthlybasis.
* ManagePension Autoenrolment including declarations to The PensionsRegulator and maintaining pension schemereturns.
* Handleclient HMRC and internal queries with professionalism andefficiency.
* Assistwith the onboarding of new clients ensuring a smooth transition andsetup.
* Shareknowledge and expertise with team members and clients to enhanceoverall servicedelivery.
Requirements
* Provenexperience in practice or a payroll bureauenvironment.
* Strongknowledge of tax NI pensions statutory family leave SSP and salarysacrificecalculations.
* Excellentverbal and written communicationskills.
* Aproactive handson approach with the ability to adapt to changingpriorities.
* Exceptionalorganizational skills with a keen eye for detail andaccuracy.
* Flexibilityto work additional hours during busy periods to meetdeadlines.
* Proficiencyin MS Office particularly intermediatelevel Excelskills.

Extensive experience in end-to-end payroll processing, includingstatutory calculations, RTI, and year-end procedures. Experience inmanaging multiple or complex payrolls. Excellent communicationskills for client and statutory authority liaison. Proactive withattention to detail, capable of creating and driving processesforward. Strong team player with the ability to collaborateeffectively. Relevant payroll qualifications (e.g., CIPP)preferred, but not essential; hands-on experience is valued.Familiarity with payroll software is advantageous; training will beprovided.
