Organisation Norwich City Football Club Salary Competitive + company benefits Location Colney Training Centre, Norwich, NR4 7TS Contract type Permanent (Full time) Closing date 9 August 2024 Job Description An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced candidate to join the Scouting and Recruitment Department Norwich City Football Club in the role of Recruitment Analyst. Reporting to the Head of Technical Scouting, the Recruitment Analyst will be responsible for the creation and Implementation of the Club's video analysis framework and processes to support the scouting and recruitment process. Working closely with the Technical Scouting team, the Recruitment Analyst will help to drive the application of modern scouting methods in collaboration with the Technical/Positional Scouts and Football Analytics department to support the player Identification and assessment process.
Key tasks/responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
•Create and manage the clubs’ videos analysis framework and processes to support the scouting and recruitment process.
•Create and maintain video databases of prospective target players in alignment with defined positional profiles.
•Utilise industry leading video telestration software to create professional player videos to be presented to the Head of Recruitment, Head Coach and Sporting Director.
•Produce video and data analysis content for recruitment meetings.
•Compile detailed player dossiers to provide a 360 view of the player.
•Contribute to the due diligence process through detailed player research, injury auditing and biographical analysis.
•Create engaging presentations to support the player recruitment process.
•Support Technical Scouts & Positional Scouts with player reporting where necessary.
•Collaborate with the Football Analytics department & utilise multiple data sources to support the player identification and analysis process.
•Be willing to work unsociable hours to ensure that the highest quality of work is maintained during critical times of the season (i.e. during & in the build-up to a transfer window).
•Ensure effective communication and collaboration exists to drive innovation and growth.

Knowledge and Experience:
•Extensive experience working in professional football within an analysis related role, experience of working within scouting & recruitment is desirable.
•Expert in the use of industry leading video analysis tools such as Wyscout, Catapult Matchtracker/Focus & CoachPaint.
•Completed or working towards FA Talent Identification qualification is desirable.
•Experience of applying data to support player identification and assessment process.
•Video editing and presentation skills.
