Job Description
1. Support all stakeholders with their day to day HR issues
2. Play a key role in delivering the site people plan
3. Work closely with the external payroll provider and HR Officer to ensure accurate processing of the UK payroll.
4. Ensure that accurate, timely and relevant HR information is available to enable more effective decision making.
5. Design and deliver training to all line managers to ensure they are fully equipped to manage disciplinary, grievance, appeals and performance management processes
6. Build stakeholder relationships
7. Foster an ER climate that embraces change as business as usual
8. Actively champion Employee Engagement activities with the management team to ensure effective two-way communication between employees and the business
9. Identify the training needs and performance management of all UK employees
10. Support the HRM in identifying and implementing opportunities for improvement
11. Advise local site teams in key people decisions ensuring ethical and legal compliance
The Successful Applicant
1. Minimum 3 years experience ideally within a site based environment, within a similar role
2. Strong knowledge of employment law
3. Experience within a unionised environment
4. Experience in a manufacturing environment (desirable)
5. Workday/ADP Time and Attendance experience (desirable)
