Join us as a Relief Cook at Wilshaw House in Ashton-under-Lyne, where we provide day care for up to 28 service users daily, diagnosed with dementia or memory impairment. As a Relief Cook, you'll cover shifts from 09:30 to 14:00, sometimes at short notice. You'll prepare and cook meals according to an agreed menu plan, tailored to our service users' preferences. Your responsibilities include managing the kitchen area, shopping, stock control, and maintaining cleanliness in line with health and safety and food hygiene legislation. Wilshaw House is conveniently located, just a 20-minute walk from the town centre and 15 minutes by bus from Ashton-under-Lyne.
