About the Role
As an Audit Senior, you will play a crucial role in our expanding Audit and Corporate team. You will lead a team of auditors, manage audits from planning to completion, and ensure high-quality service delivery. This role involves working closely with managers and partners to maintain compliance and provide training to junior staff. Additionally, you will be responsible for compiling accounts and preparing corporate tax returns.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan and complete audits for a diverse range of clients.
2. Lead and supervise a team of audit juniors, providing training and reviewing their work.
3. Ensure audits are conducted efficiently, both in terms of cost and time.
4. Liaise with clients and partners to ensure compliance and address any issues.
5. Draft corporation and income tax computations.
6. Maintain meticulous adherence to audit procedures.
7. Travel to client offices as required, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their business and needs.
What We're Looking For
* ACA / ACCA qualified or part-qualified with at least 2 years of audit experience.
* Statutory audit experience in public practice.
* Strong knowledge of ISA and UK GAAP.
* Skills in accounts compilation and drafting corporation tax computations.
* Excellent client service and communication skills.
* Strong organizational, analytical, and attention to detail skills.
* Willingness to travel frequently to client sites.
