Clinical Team Leader for Recognise and Respond
Join to apply for the Clinical Team Leader for Recognise and Respond role at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated person to continue to work with the excellent foundation and structure already set out by the current leadership team within RRT.
We are looking for an individual with an in-depth existing knowledge of RRT, the current education and quality assurance priorities, and significant clinical experience. Alongside the current leadership team, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the aspirational, innovative vision of the team and the support & development of junior and senior staff.
The Recognise and Respond team supports a multi-disciplinary team caring for the urgent needs of the unwell patient. We are a team of highly skilled professionals who value every member within the team, and the support provided by the leadership team is imperative to the successful running of the team.
You will be providing leadership and oversight on the running of the team day to day and a variety of educational courses such as the HCA study day, ACT study, ALERT course, and more! Alongside this, you will lead on safety and quality assurance projects across the team reporting into trust boards and committees responsible for patient safety, quality, and improvement.
As a clinical leader, you will be required to work alongside your response team colleagues in a clinical capacity to give assurance to care delivery and development of staff members within the response team. Dependent on skills and qualifications, you will also have the opportunity to teach on courses and deliver bespoke training on request.
Working closely with your peers including the Response team leader and resuscitation officers, you will provide an MDT approach to challenges and development opportunities.
We are a very social team and like to spend time away from the clinical environment together, increasing our teamwork and bond as a group. We are keen for you to join us!
