Summary:
This role involves designing and developing automation solutions for aerospace components and structures. The ideal candidate will have experience with robotic systems, PLC integration, and programming languages such as RAPID.

Responsibilities:
* Design and develop automation solutions for production, test, and assembly of aerospace components and structures.
* Identify areas for automation improvement in manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and improve product quality.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with automation systems, providing repair, reprogramming, or upgrading solutions.
* Maintain compliance with industry standards and regulations, particularly safety and quality control requirements.
* Support the NPI team on design for automation, optimizing best methods of manufacturing.
* Develop an inspection strategy for vision and sensor inspection technology.
* Apply DFMA, tolerance, design optimization, and value engineering principles.

Experience Required:
* At least 3 years of experience with robot, external axes, and PLC integration.
* Advanced level of expertise in robot programming language such as RAPID.
* Force control integration and programming experience.
* Electrical wiring and robot circuit integration experience.
* Strong problem-solving and creativity skills.
* Project management experience.

* Experience working with Solidworks, TIA Portal, and Robot Studio.
* Robot studio and automation simulation experience.
* PLC programming skills.
