We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Nurse Apprentice to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and education for children in our nursery setting. You will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that promotes the development of young children. This position requires strong communication skills, a commitment to early childhood education, and the ability to manage various tasks effectively.
Responsibilities
1. Provide attentive and responsive care to children aged 0-5 years, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
2. Develop and implement engaging educational activities that promote learning through play.
3. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster positive relationships and support children's development.
4. Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their achievements and areas for improvement.
5. Collaborate with team members to create a harmonious nursery environment that encourages teamwork and leadership.
6. Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and play sessions, ensuring a structured yet flexible approach.
7. Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the nursery space, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Experience
1. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in English with both children and adults.
2. A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their growth and development through creative play and learning experiences.
