We are seeking 2 enthusiastic and inquisitive Junior Assembly Fitters who are hard working and have a traditional work ethic. You must have a love for all things engineering and not only be willing to learn but be able to apply new skills with a view to grow and develop a long term career with our client. A background in the Agricultural Sector would be advantageous.

Someone who can Assemble Engineering Machinery Equipment to a high standard. To have gained other relevant engineering qualifications or have the relevant experience in this sector would be very beneficial in this job role. The use of hand, power, and precision measuring tools is a necessity in this role.
The Fitter - Assembler will be required to Assemble complex machinery with the use of drawings.
The Fitter Assembler will be expected to be able to set up the equipment used to allow for the different types of materials used.
Will be Responsible for observing and following all safety regulations with required PPE.
Will be Responsible for carrying out daily checks on equipment used.
Essential Functions:
Ability to Assemble Machinery equipment.
Perform safety-related functions.
Demonstrate safe and proficient use of shop tools (both hand and power).
Demonstrate basic engineering mechanical knowledge.
Competent in welding techniques.
Knowledge and ability to troubleshoot.
Must be physically capable of performing work.
Proficient in understanding and reading drawings.
To work as part of a team of skilled trade workers.
Perform duties in a work environment that will be hot, cold, dirty and fast-paced.
Be proactive and have a positive attitude.
Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards.
Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety
procedures.
Prioritize workflow through effective communication with management staff.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Regularly perform repetitive tasks
Regularly possess manual dexterity to put parts or pieces together quickly and
accurately.
To be able to use Overhead Crane Equipment (training given).
To be competent in the use of certain Hand Tools such as Grinders and Electric Drills.
Qualifications:
City & Guilds or relevant experience.
Apprentice trained in engineering.
EITB Qualification
Fitting Assembly Qualification.
Bench Fitting Qualification / Experience.
Level 2 diploma or a level 3 diploma in engineering.
Experience with how to implement safe working practices.
Health & Safety qualifications preferred.
Salary and Benefits:
Hourly pay of: Dependent on experience and qualifications.
Attendance Bonus Paid Monthly.
20 days annual leave (5 days for Christmas) plus Bank Holidays.
1 Day per year added to your holiday entitlement of a max of five days.
Hours of work Mon Thurs 08.00am 17.00pm, Friday 08.00am 16.30pm.
