INVENTORY CONTROLLER AND QUALITY SUPPORT (Permanent) - LUTTERWORTH DEPOT

Key Responsibilities:
·Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels across all of CPG.
·Ensure that cycle counts are planned and completed as per customer requirements.
·Work with operations to ensure regular physical and cycle counts are completed, to maintain inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies.
·Analyse inventory data and implement corrections and corrective actions as required.
·Implement and improve auditing processes to identify and resolve inventory issues or discrepancies.
·Maintain proper documentation of inventory transactions, including receipts, transfers, and adjustments.
·Collaborate with clients and suppliers to track orders, resolve delivery issues, and ensure accurate inventory levels.
·Generate inventory reports and provide analysis on stock levels, turnover, and potential risks or opportunities.
·Identify inefficiencies in inventory control processes and implement improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
·Work closely with operations, customer services and purchasing to ensure accurate and seamless inventory management.
·Assist with queries relating to inbound and outbound deliveries and orders.
·Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
·Support the quality function and assist with non-conforming stock, investigations and customer feedback.
·Ensure Health and Safety is maintained and report issues to the H&S Officer.
·Assist CPGs environmental programmes.
Essential Skills:
·Mathematical Skills: Proficiency in basic math operations and computing rates, ratios, and percentages.
·Reasoning Ability: Problem-solving skills for administrative tasks and interpreting instructions in various formats. Ability to analyze and interpret data, identify trends and outliers in large data sets.
·Language Skills: Fluent English in speaking, understanding, reading, and writing. Ability to analyse documents and write reports. Strong presentation and communication skills
·IT Skills: Proficiency in using SAP and MS Office for data analysis and reporting. Ability to generate and send reports via MS Office, both formal and informal.
·Minimum of 2 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
·Excellent attention to detail to ensure accurate inventory records and identify discrepancies.
·Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make informed decisions to optimise inventory control processes.
·Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
·Effective problem-solving skills to identify and resolve inventory-related issues.
·Strong organisational and time management skills to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
·Ability to work on own initiative.

Additional Information
Salary: £25,000 to £30,000 per annum
Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm 37.5 hours per week
