Job Title: English and Maths KS3 SEN 1:1 Tutor Location: East of England, Essex, Loughton Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour Job Duties: The English and Maths KS3 SEN 1:1 Tutor will provide individualised support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in Key Stage 3. Duties include identifying learning needs, developing tailored lesson plans, implementing effective teaching strategies, monitoring progress, and providing feedback to students and parents. Required Qualifications: - Relevant qualification in Education or related field - Experience working with students with SEN - Knowledge of the KS3 curriculum Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in tutoring or teaching students with SEN Knowledge and Skills: - Strong understanding of SEN principles and practises - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs - Proficiency in English and Maths Preferred Qualifications: - Teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent) - Additional training in SEN education Working Conditions: This role involves working on a part-time, temporary basis with flexible hours. The tutor will be required to work closely with students, parents, and school staff to provide tailored support. The work will primarily take place in an educational setting in Loughton, Essex.
