NSB Recruitment have an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Environmental Project Manager to join a leading multi-disciplinary consultancy. Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Environmental professional to join their established team, with a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions, they work closely with UK water companies, overseeing a diverse range of projects that include Carbon, Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG), Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), and permitting. Location - based in either the North West or South West offices, however consideration given to all UK cities. As an Environmental Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of my clients projects and ensuring the highest standards of environmental management: Managing a portfolio of projects for UK water companies, ensuring successful delivery within scope, time, and budget. Overseeing environmental aspects, including Carbon reduction initiatives, Biodiversity Net Gain strategies, Environmental Impact Assessments, and permitting processes. Collaborating effectively with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders to ensure clear communication and understanding of project goals. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, regulatory bodies, and project partners Staying abreast of relevant environmental regulations and guidelines to ensure projects align with legal requirements. Providing guidance on compliance issues and proactively address regulatory challenges. Developing comprehensive project plans, outlining deliverables, milestones, and resource requirements. Generating regular reports on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks as necessary. Leading or contributing to EIA processes, ensuring the thorough assessment and documentation of environmental impacts. Providing strategic input to EIA strategies and coordinate with relevant specialists. Designing and implementing Carbon reduction projects, working towards sustainable solutions. Developing and managing Biodiversity Net Gain strategies, promoting positive impacts on ecosystems. To be considered you’ll need the following: Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, or a related field. Proven experience in environmental project management within the consultancy sector. Strong knowledge of UK water industry practices and regulations. Familiarity with Carbon reduction initiatives, Biodiversity Net Gain, EIA, and permitting processes. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality results.
