My client is seeking two dedicated Nursery Teaching Assistants to join their nurturing and inclusive team. This role places you at the heart of the community, working closely with children aged 2 to pre-school in a supportive and vibrant environment. This role is available on a part-time, permanent contract working for 25 hours per week ( 8am - 1pm or 11am - 4pm). What You’ll Be Doing Supporting individual and group learning activities, including children with special educational needs. Promoting emotional, physical, and educational development tailored to each child’s needs. Encouraging positive behavior and nurturing self-reliance in a caring environment. Assisting with the preparation and delivery of engaging lesson plans in partnership with the teacher or SENDCo. Helping children with basic needs, such as minor medical assistance or hygiene, when necessary. Fostering strong relationships with parents and carers to ensure a collaborative approach to each child’s development. Supporting school-wide initiatives like the Behavior and Learning Charter and assisting with playground duties. About You Be able to do the job as described. Passionate about early years education and committed to helping children thrive. Experienced in supporting children with communication, learning, and interaction difficulties. Comfortable working with bilingual or multilingual learners. Understanding of safeguarding and the importance of confidentiality in a school environment.
