Business Development Manager (Health Sector)

The Customer Success Manager / Business Development Manager role will give you the opportunity to make a real difference, developing and growing our business in a key sector for Esri UK. Your responsibilities will include:
* Secure new customers.
* Enable our customers’ success – by becoming their trusted GIS advisor, working with decision makers, demonstrating how our product capabilities & functionalities can benefit their organisation.
* Identify, qualify, negotiate, and close sales, ensuring the proposals meet the required margins and cost of sale.
* Increase the adoption of our technology – by developing a Customer Success Plan with the customer, identifying and recommending ways to maximize their ROI for using GIS within their organisation.
* Be part of the Esri team – collaborating with colleagues both within sales and other departments to help achieve targets.
This would be a great career move if you
* Have some understanding of the concept of GIS technology (essential). Knowledge of Esri GIS products is desirable, so you can propose suitable GIS based solutions.
* Have some previous sales/business development expertise (ideally including negotiating with and supplying local government).
* Have experience working in the UK healthcare sector and have an appetite to proliferate the value of GIS.
* Are consultative in your approach, really putting your customer first and listening to their needs, whilst still being commercially minded, drawing up compelling sales proposals.
* Can build strong, enduring relationships with customers and colleagues.
* Would relish the opportunity to make a significant difference to our business success.
* Are a team player, who understands how a team approach and sharing knowledge makes us all more successful.
* Are authorized to work in the UK and have a full UK driving licence.
Security: Because of the types of data and clients we work with, all our positions require successful candidates to undergo a basic security clearance.
Location: Whilst you would be home-based, you will still need to attend some meetings and make some customer visits in person, we are happy for you to work from home, one of our offices or a mixture of both.
