Main Duties As a Data Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the finance team, with a focus on data analysis and reporting. Your key responsibilities will include: Daily Ticket Reporting: Oversee the automation and refresh of daily ticket reports, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Data Management: Structure, map, and manage ticketing data for festival account executives using tools like Microsoft Excel and Power BI. Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve queries or reconciliation issues related to ticketing data, liaising with both festival account executives and the FP&A team. Power BI Reporting: Design, develop, and deploy analytics reports and dashboards, using Power BI to drive business decisions. Data Integration: Monitor and update the Airtable festival database, integrating this data into wider financial reporting processes. Support for New Businesses: Assist in mapping and structuring data for new companies joining the group. Automation: Gain expertise in Azure automation to support the daily refresh process and further streamline operations. Data Analysis: Analyse the relationship between ticket sales and marketing efforts to provide actionable insights for improving sales performance.What are we looking for? We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual with experience in business analysis, especially within data-heavy environments. To excel in this role, you should have: Experience: At least 12 months of experience as a Data Analyst, with a proven track record in data analysis and reporting. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Power BI (including Power Query and DAX), Microsoft SQL Server, and the use of SSIS packages in Visual Studio. Experience with Azure Data Factory, Logic Apps, and PowerShell Runbooks is also essential. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and accessible manner to different audiences. Problem-Solving: A strong problem-solving ability, able to break down and simplify complex processes while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Interpersonal Skills: Good teamwork and interpersonal skills, coupled with the ability to work independently and stay motivated. Organisation: Excellent planning and organisational skills, with a strong focus on managing multiple tasks and deadlines. Desired Skills Experience with performance marketing initiatives. Familiarity with Snowflake and Airtable. Prior experience working in remote teams across different time zones.
