Role Overview
This is a full-time, permanent role for an enthusiastic individual who is committed to helping students reach their full potential. You'll collaborate closely with teachers and other staff members to create adaptive, engaging learning experiences, encourage constructive behaviours, and support students in a structured and nurturing setting.
Key Responsibilities
1. Direct Student Support: Provide individualised and small-group support to students with SEN, ensuring they can access and engage fully in their learning.
2. IEP Implementation: Assist in executing Individual Education Plans and behavioural management strategies that contribute to a positive, inclusive classroom.
3. Adapted Learning: Modify classroom activities to suit varying student needs, making learning accessible and enjoyable for all.
4. Progress Monitoring: Track and report on student progress, offering valuable feedback to teachers and parents to support each student's development plan.
What You Bring
1. Experience: Previous experience working with SEN students is an advantage, but we welcome applications from those dedicated to making a difference.
2. Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, adaptability, and a caring, encouraging approach to working with students.
3. Qualifications: GCSE Maths and English proficiency is desirable.
