They are now looking for a Surveys and Training Support Officer to join them on a part-time, fixed-term basis for 20 weeks, working 22.5 hours per week (0.6 FTE). The contract is set to run from the w/c the 10th February 2025 until the w/c 23rd June 2025 including a one month probationary period. So, if you’re eager to make a tangible impact on wildlife conservation, read on and apply today The Role As the Surveys and Training Support Officer, you will support the successful day-to-day running of our client’s monitoring programme through a range of administration and co-ordination tasks. Specifically, you will support training, surveys and reporting activities to enable the smooth running of the programme. Working with staff and trainers, you will organise training workshops, update the training schedule and review and update training resources. You will assist in the co-ordination of surveys, support the volunteers taking part and help to implement the volunteer recruitment and development plan. Additionally, you will assist with producing and editing an e-bulletin and support the production of the programme’s annual report. About You To be considered as a Surveys and Training Support Officer, you will need: - Experience of working with volunteers or customers - Excellent organisations skills - A professional, prompt and sympathetic telephone and email manner - Good attention to detail - A genuine interest in, and curiosity about, the natural world The closing date for this role is 16th December 2024.
