As our Junior Garment Technologist, you will be reporting into the Technical Manager and working closely alongside the Product Development and Production teams. You will be responsible for assisting in the Management of the technical product development and sealing stages across multi product woven and knitted categories from prototype to bulk production. You will: · Assist the Technical Manager with day-to-day duties of the technical development and sealing stages of all products from Prototype to Shipment sample, in line with the CP · Assist with the creation of technical specification packs each season · Communicate with overseas suppliers in the Far East and Europe · Attend regular supplier and departmental meetings ensuring actions are followed up within the given timeframes · Schedule fit sessions and manage model bookings and invoice approvals · Attend fit meetings and record all fit comments and photos · Measure all samples arriving into the business · Assist with the upkeep of the graded specs, min construction standards and how to measure guides · Organise test report database · Review Shipment samples and AQL inspection reports · Manage the wearer trial program · Analyse Customer Service returns and complaints reports and assess for focussed areas of correction · Support offshore third-party auditors regarding technical queries · Respond to and support the Customer Services team on technical queries within a timely manner · Be responsible for updating the online product size chart data for the Web team · Be responsible for maintaining the QC inspection report graded spec data charts for QC teams · Complete QC checks on stock as and where required Requirements · Previous experience within a similar position · Knowledge of Menswear product, construction and fit is beneficial · Experience across multi products including woven and jersey · An understanding of pattern cutting and grading · Ability to adapt and remain flexible · Good attention to detail · A good working knowledge of Google Docs, MS Office, Notion, with a willingness to learn new systems as required · A strong team player with excellent communication skills and a positive can-do attitude · Highly organised, self-motivated with excellent time management skills BUT more than anything else, we value horsepower, and hustle.
