Role: Teacher of Computer Science (Permanent Position)

An Ofsted-rated Outstanding secondary school in Cambridge is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Computer Science to join its permanent staff from January 2025. Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and effective Computer Science lessons to KS3, KS4, and KS5 students.
* Plan, prepare, and assess students' work in line with school and departmental standards.
* Use a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
* Support students in developing coding, programming, and problem-solving skills.
* Contribute to the development of the Computer Science curriculum and extracurricular activities.
* Participate in department and whole-school CPD and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* A degree in Computer Science or a related subject.
* Experience teaching Computer Science to KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience is highly desirable).
* A passion for technology and innovation in education.
* Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students in their learning.
* Commitment to supporting the school's inclusive ethos and high academic standards.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
