Salary: £23,500 - £25,000 depending on experience plus annual team bonus scheme.

At NFU Mutual Wells Agency, we are currently recruiting for a Credit Controller to join our dynamic team and provide dedicated support to our customers.

This role is perfect if you love relationship building. You will play a crucial role in supporting the Operations and Finance teams in producing accurate and timely reports and information.
About the Role:
1. The primary responsibility is for collation, dispatch and accountability of all client renewal documentation whilst meeting timeframes.
2. Undertake general administrative duties.
3. Manage all aspects of Credit control, premium collection, defaults, refunds, and queries.
4. Oversee the efficient resolution of customer queries, working closely with other departments as needed to address and resolve disputes.
5. Work alongside and support the office with daily administrative tasks.
6. Produce correspondence to required time frames and quality standards.
7. Maintain record keeping as per requirements for your role.
8. Develop and sustain effective working relationships with customers, all members of the Agency and NFU Mutual staff.
9. Work within the Compliance Framework required by the Company / Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
10. Use all Microsoft Office Applications as well as Insurance Policy and Claims Administration Systems. Full training and support will be provided.
11. Utilise task management software to manage workflows.
12. Perform other duties as assigned by the Management Team.
About You
1. A keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of credit control, focused on high standards of accuracy and regulatory requirements.
2. Excellent grasp of Business Maths and English.
3. IT literate with strong skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
4. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
5. An understanding and experience of working in a credit control environment.
6. Ability to meet deadlines, work under pressure, and manage competing priorities.
